The Tank Shoppe was created in a season in my life where I needed a little more encouragement and affirmation.  Looking down at the blank tank top I wore to the gym every day, I wished it said something simple to remind me of who I am and my purpose. I started designing tank tops with scriptures like Jeremiah 29:11 and words I called my “Power Words” like BOLD, BRAVE, FREE, and CHOSEN. I wore tank tops every day to the gym so because of that and being inspired by the sights of the West Coast I chose the name “The Tank Shoppe,” and it inspired the branding and the fresh and fun feel that I wanted the brand to represent. Sometimes the world thinks that “Christians” are boring and stale and I did not want to give that impression because we are BOLD, FUN, FREE, and the Ultimate Creators. Two years later I remembered an idea for earrings that I had many years ago. My good friend had the ability to create them for me so she finally engraved my first pair of earrings that read, “Jeremiah 29:11," in May of 2023. Quickly, I knew “The Tank Shoppe” was about more than tank tops. It was about making sure you fill your own tank every single day to keep you uplifted and aligned with purpose. 

The Tank Shoppe was created so people can get pieces that mean something powerful and encouraging to them in whatever season of life they find themselves. And why are we launching now you ask? Well, I’m from the “keep it real” tribe, and in this season of my life, I’m determined to pay off debts and create a work-from-home job for my mother who quit her job to be a full-time caretaker for my grandparents. Plus, my teenager needs a ton of dental work, a vehicle and is heading off to college next year.  It was just time to take another leap of faith to provide for my family! That’s my why and my why now!

PS - One day, hopefully soon, we will carry those Tank Tops, T’s and Sweatshirts! I have them designed and ready for when we can expand!
